Front Passenger Door
Overview
This electric window motor drives the front right (passenger) window regulator on Peugeot 307 vehicles. It is a direct-fit replacement for worn or failed original units and is commonly referenced by OE numbers 9649911080, 9222S4 and 9222CF. Ideal for professional workshops and DIY mechanics who need a reliable replacement part to restore smooth window operation. Not suitable for CC Cabrio models.

Fitment & Compatibility
Fits Peugeot 307 models equipped with an electric front passenger window regulator. Confirm fitment by matching the OE/reference numbers above. This unit is not compatible with CC Cabrio models.
Function
The motor converts electrical input into rotational motion to drive the window regulator (gear or cable mechanism), raising and lowering the front passenger glass. It works together with the regulator assembly, wiring harness and door switches to provide smooth, controlled window movement.
Replacement Procedure (Summary)
- Disconnect the vehicle battery before any work to prevent short circuits and accidental motor operation.
- Remove the interior door trim and carefully peel back the moisture barrier to expose regulator and motor.
- Support the glass (tape or prop) and disconnect the electrical connector from the motor.
- Unbolt the motor from the regulator or remove the regulator bolts if replacing the complete assembly.
- Detach the glass from the regulator if required, fit the new motor, reconnect the connector and briefly reconnect the battery to test operation and alignment.
- Reassemble the door in reverse order, ensuring moisture barrier is resealed and switch operation is tested.
Installation Recommendations
- Always disconnect the battery before starting removal or installation.
- Handle the door glass carefully and support it during the procedure to avoid breakage or misalignment.
- Check the regulator mechanism (tracks, sliders, cables) and lubricate contact points with a suitable silicone grease before final assembly.
- Inspect the wiring connector and pins for corrosion or damage; clean contacts if necessary for reliable operation.
- After installation, cycle the window several times to set correct seating and check for unusual noise or binding.
Why This Part Commonly Fails
- Wear Of Internal Brushes And Commutator: Repeated use causes brush wear, reducing motor torque.
- Gear Or Worm Damage: Stripped or worn gears within the motor or regulator result in slipping or no movement.
- Water Ingress And Corrosion: Moisture entering the door can corrode electrical contacts or motor internals.
- Regulator Binding Or Cable Failure: Often the regulator, not just the motor, is the underlying cause; increased load accelerates motor failure.
- Blocked Drainage Or Dirt Build-Up: Debris and blocked door drains increase strain on the motor and regulator.
Condition And Notes
Unit Sold As: Tested, Fully Functional (used part). Before final assembly, verify smooth operation and correct travel. For best results, address any worn regulator components simultaneously to prevent premature failure of the replacement motor.
