Installation recommendations
– Before mounting, check that the part number (9655613780, 6561Z9, 6561W5, 6587J0) matches the original antenna.
– When disassembling the old antenna, disconnect the battery to avoid a short circuit when handling the wiring.
– Remove the interior ceiling trim at the antenna location to access the fixing nut and connector.
– Repeat the original mounting method: screw the antenna from the outside of the roof and secure it with a nut from the inside. Tighten carefully to avoid deformation of the roof sheet or damage to the thread.
– Check the sealing rubber / pad under the base of the antenna so that there is no leakage into the interior. In case of wear, it is advisable to replace or reseal the seal.
– Carefully plug the coaxial connector into the harness leading to the car radio so that the signal is not interrupted.
– After assembly, reconnect the battery and test the reception of the radio on several frequencies, possibly even while driving.
