Description

Antenna for CITROEN C4 C5 C8 PEUGEOT 308 and others

The antenna for Citroën and Peugeot cars is suitable for replacing the original part on Citroën C4, C5, C8 and Peugeot 308, 807 and other related types. Thanks to the original design, it ensures reliable reception of the radio and often also other functions (for example, communication of the central unit with the radio system) without interference and outages. When installed correctly, it fully replaces the original mounted antenna and contributes to the problem-free use of the car radio even on longer routes.

Technical information
Manufacturer: PSA Citroën Peugeot
Model: roof antenna radio (selected Citroën / Peugeot models)
Product codes: 9655613780, 6561Z9
Other numbers: 6561W5, 6587J0

Usage and compatibility
This roof antenna is intended for Citroën and Peugeot cars, where it replaces a damaged or non-functional antenna, or an antenna with poor signal reception. It is typically mounted in the rear part of the roof of the car, where the coaxial cable to the car radio is routed. Thanks to identical product codes, the part can be easily searched and compared with the number on the original antenna.

Suitable models (approximate):
– Citroën C4
– Citroën C5
– Citroën C8
– Peugeot 308
– Peugeot 807
– and other selected models of the PSA concern with the same part number

Part condition
This is a used original part from disassembly, suitable for replacing a damaged or non-functional piece. Compared to non-original replacements, it tends to fit the body better and has more stable radio reception.

Installation recommendations
– Before mounting, check that the part number (9655613780, 6561Z9, 6561W5, 6587J0) matches the original antenna.
– When disassembling the old antenna, disconnect the battery to avoid a short circuit when handling the wiring.
– Remove the interior ceiling trim at the antenna location to access the fixing nut and connector.
– Repeat the original mounting method: screw the antenna from the outside of the roof and secure it with a nut from the inside. Tighten carefully to avoid deformation of the roof sheet or damage to the thread.
– Check the sealing rubber / pad under the base of the antenna so that there is no leakage into the interior. In case of wear, it is advisable to replace or reseal the seal.
– Carefully plug the coaxial connector into the harness leading to the car radio so that the signal is not interrupted.
– After assembly, reconnect the battery and test the reception of the radio on several frequencies, possibly even while driving.
