Overview
Original Delphi BSM B2 (Boîtier de Servitude Moteur) fuse and relay box for Citroën and Peugeot models. Supersedes codes 9650664180 and 6500.Y1 (6500 Y1). This unit controls and protects critical engine-bay power circuits including ignition, fuel pump, cooling fans, wipers, lights and injection systems. Note: the part may have a damaged plastic mounting tab—this does not affect electrical function, but adapt mounting as needed.

Symptoms Of Failure
Common signs of a failing BSM include intermittent engine shutdown or failure to start, non-operating fuel pump or cooling fans, loss of lights or wipers, and visible corrosion or overheating in the box. Causes are typically heat stress, moisture ingress and oxidation of contacts.
Replacement & Installation
Before work, disconnect the battery negative terminal. Match the label (Delphi, BSM B2, OE numbers) and connector layout with your original unit. Replace with the same B2 variant. After installation, verify fuse positions and relay locations to match the vehicle’s original configuration. In most cases BSM replacement is plug-and-play and does not require coding — BSM handles power distribution and switching, not immobiliser functions (coding is related to BSI units, not BSM).
