Installation Notes

Typical Failure Modes

Lifespan And Maintenance
Service life depends on usage and operating conditions; many alternators last between 100,000 and 200,000 km. When replacing the alternator, inspect the drive belt, tensioner and electrical connections to prevent premature failure of the new unit.
