Fitment And Compatibility

Installation
Typical replacement requires removing the interior door trim to access the mirror mounting bolts, disconnecting the electrical connector, unbolting the old mirror, fitting the new mirror skeleton, reconnecting the wiring and testing all functions before reassembling the door trim. Follow the vehicle manufacturer’s torque specifications for mounting bolts and ensure all connectors are fully engaged.
Common Failure Modes
Mirrors commonly fail as a result of impact damage, water ingress, worn adjustment motors, heater element faults or connector and wiring corrosion. Replacing the mirror skeleton with electronics restores electric adjustment and heating functions where the original housing or glass is serviceable.
