Installation Recommendations
- Park vehicle on a level surface and switch off ignition. If preferred, disconnect the negative battery terminal to avoid short circuits while working on electrical connectors.
- Open the tailgate and remove the interior trim panel to access the rear lamp mounting nuts or bolts.
- Unscrew the fasteners and carefully pull the lamp assembly outwards to expose the wiring connector.
- Disconnect the wiring harness by releasing the connector clip, then remove the lamp from the vehicle.
- If reusing bulb holders, transfer them from the old lamp to the new unit. Fit new holders if required (holders are not supplied).
- Reconnect the wiring, test all light functions (tail, brake, indicator, reversing if applicable) before refitting trim, then tighten fasteners to the manufacturer’s torque recommendations.
- Avoid overtightening to prevent cracking the lens or deforming mounting tabs.
