Part description
The limiter (stop) of the front door for the Peugeot 308 T9 is used to smoothly limit the opening of the door and to stabilize it in individual positions. It helps protect the hinges and the door itself from overloading when opening and increases comfort when getting in.
This part is intended for front left and front right doors (depending on the version on the car). When replacing, the situation is typically solved when the door does not hold in an intermediate position, “jumps” when moving, or there is a clicking/creaking sound.

Installation recommendations
- Before assembly, check for mechanical damage to the limiters and the condition of the fixings in the doors and in the body pillar.
- It is recommended to also check the condition of the hinges and any clearance in the door – excessive clearance can shorten the life of the limiter.
- After assembly, test the function in all opening positions: the door should move smoothly and without skipping.

- A strong gust of wind into an open door, which overloads the mechanism.
- Wear of the limiter mechanism (clicking, skipping, not holding positions).
