This lock is most often solved in the case of such types: The suitcase cannot be opened/locked, the lock just clicks without any reinsurance, the on -board computer reports the “open fifth door”, the interior lighting remains lit or the rear windows are not working due to the open lid detection. This is due to the wear of the electric motor/actuator, tired microswitch, moisture entering into the mechanism or damage to the cabling in the doorway.

Sit the new piece in its original position, connect the connector and pull, tighten the screws. Before deploying the lining, make a trial closing and check the function of the central locking and proper closing. If necessary, fine -tune the latch position/firing pin to the door to close smoothly and without a wound.

For a long life, check the status of the rubber seal around the lid and the cable bundle in the bushage – the water intrusion and the correct clearance of the cabling significantly reduce the risk of repeated defects.
